You want to pack light, and keep warm, but still look good. Here we are giving you some tips!
In addition to your basic packing list:
- Pack thermals/long underwear
Thermal underwear is an absolute must for staying warm in freezing temperatures.
- Replace 3-4 tops with 2 sweaters
Sweaters are a classic fashion choice because they look stylish while remaining comfortable. Choose the classic sweater because it goes nice with everything you can mix match.
- Make one of your bottoms abasic pair of black pants
They’re easy to pair with a t-shirt for a casual outfit, or dress up with a nice silk top or sweater when going out for a nice dinner.
- Choose boots as your one shoe
They keep your feet warm and dry better than sneakers or flats. Choose Dark colored, so they won’t show stains from mud, slush, or getting thrown on filthy security belts
- Pack warm, lightweight socks
Boots alone won’t keep your feet warm. It’s important to pack warm socks when packing for cold weather trips anywhere.
- Accessorize with hats, gloves, and scarves
There is nothing quite so brutal as a freezing cold noggin, so if you choose one item very carefully, make it your hat, gloves and scarves.
- Choose your coatwisely
Pick a waterproof coat and don’t waste space on an extra rain jacket.
- Don’t forget chapstick and sunscreen
Little humidity in the air during the winter months is known to cause chapped lips. A sunburn from reflection off of snow or ice is every bit a rival of a summer sunburn. So Don’t forget to wear Chapstick and sunscreen.
